Origins of Ancient Astrology
Of course the greatest and earliest known
astrologer ever was the Creator Himself as only He knew the true full
meanings of the stars / planets that He had placed among the heavens in His
very purposeful way. I know some may call me offbeat for stating that God
was an astrologer but I believe He Created and then admired His Creation. So
at very least He was a stargazer. It is written that God Created all the
sciences as well as astrology. This was so His Creation could read from the
signs He placed in the heavens. So there would be no misunderstanding to
exactly who He IS, were we come from, where we currently are, and His will
for where we are going.
Astrology has been associated with
evil over the ages due to mankind's pagan altering and or the cover-up of a
storyline written within the heavenlies. All anyone has to do to realize
this fact is do some reading on the origins and or originators of the
Uranometria as well as how the constellations were shown in early
Uranometria renderings in a reversed depiction than they are currently shown
today. And or how the current Uranometria depicts 88 constellations when
there are many more known constellations to the science of astrology that
have been recorded and or documented as mere numbers without names within
the full Uranometria.
It is supposed that Adams immediate
descendants were the first astrologers and there is written works describing
the earliest known astrologers as coming forth from the lineage of Adams son
Cain. Other early accounts state that Seth and Enoch built two pillars. One
was made of brick and the other was made of stone. And upon these two
pillars it is said that they inscribed the names, meanings, secret virtues,
and science of all stars as well as the DIVISIONS of the zodiac.
It is my feelings that the division
written about represents the division between souls who are of good and
souls who are of evil. Or the dividing line between those who end up in the
book of life and or the book of death. There is no in between when it comes
to good vs. evil in God's eyes. It is well known that God will not allow
fence sitters all of eternity to decide. Thus this is what I feel these two
pillars may represent. That in essence God is telling us that, through free
will, eventually we all will have to make our stand along side one or the
other of these two pillars.
There is also a common held belief by some
that the zodiac represents the 12 tribes of Israel because of the 12 month
comparison of the lunar calendar year. If this is the case then the division
of these 12 tribe zodiac symbols is possibly showing the reason why there
are lost tribes of Israel to begin with. A rift possibly caused by the
choices some tribes were making when they began utilizing a pagan Sabian
religion, with it's rituals, consultation, and worship of solar or star
deities.
The earliest form of a documented religion
of mankind was intertwined within astrology. Sabianism, or star worship, in
the earliest days of man was combined with astrology, or the adoration of
the stars, and with divination through horoscope readings. Thus resulting in
a religion that was adopted where through the combined use of these three
techniques, ones living at the time could consult their personal heavenly
deities. The worship and consultation with supposed godlike deities equals
religion by my standards. This can be the only logical conclusion to this
issue.
